This weeks post of progress may not seem as extensive but just as much work has been done as the previous post.Most in-game mechanics are now fully implemented and working with a few still to come / be tested.
- Implemented new world map system
- Implemented various background systems such as the ability to configure the keyboard, gamepad support, cache manager, persistent data, and more.
After a month of figuring out planning, two weeks of production and 24 hours to render, the official opening video was released as a teaser and can be viewed below
The next couple weeks will now be focused on writing the rest of the story and game dialogue script.

Progress has begun on the video game once again and we are making great progress!! It’s good to be back!
and much much more!
- Migrated project from RPG Maker VX Ace to RPG Maker MV
- Implemented new in-game mechanics utilizing javascript instead of ruby script
- New mechanics that are now functional are as follows
- Implemented a new message core which added more features to overall in game message user
- Implemented new status menu which displays more information in a better layout
- Implemented mini labels to display the names of characters, towns, stores etc. without needing to interact with them.
- Implemented a new item core, shop core and item book (which displays detailed statuses of items)/
- Implemented a much more robust crafting system, salvage system and durability system.
- Implemented a much more robust skill leveling system which is also much more user friendly as well a new skill points system.
- Implemented animated sideview enemies
- Implemented CTB battle system (similar to Final Fantasy Tactics)
- New taunt system/talent
- New aftermath reporting system (report after battle)
- Implemented enemy levels so that enemies level up with the player making the game much more enjoyable and challenging.
- Implemented visual HP guages for enemies during battle
- Implemented an enemy agro system and respawn system.
- Implemented new quest log system
- Implemented new lighting system for when in caves/dungeons. Torches now give off visible light source.
- Implemented rare enemie system which allows a chance to fight a rare monster and get rarer items.
- Much progress has been made on the intro to the game and a demo should be available sometime in the near future.
- Progress has been made on the overall story but this aspect of the game is progressing much slower then I would like.
- Once finished, game will be availble on PC, HTML5 (web) and Android!!
- Demo will be available on all above platforms as well, and for free!
Mar 11th, 2014
- Added herbing/alchemy which will be used to create not only your standard potions but will be needed to create key items in the game to progress.
- Nearly finished designing the main capital city, Theos
- Added a battle arena which will be utilized later on in the game. Players will battle against troops of enemies in an Arena where they become more difficult to defeat as you progress. This will lead to unique rewards and some more achievements.
- Begun preliminary work on monster design, skill design and progression design, though this is still far from complete.

- Skill Tree core programming completed, skills still need to be decided on and programmed in.

Initial Updates
Preliminary work has begun on the World of Nathakra RPG!
The Game will revolve around Ronan, a priest with an unknown past. He was raised by the High Priest of Theos, the capital city of Nathakra, but for what purpose? What secrets lie in Ronan’s past?
With the help of unlikely allies, his adventure will take him to the edges of the world and beyond.
The World of Nathakra RPG will include several outstanding gameplay features such as:
